SISTM Frost Protection The Selective Inverted Sink (SISTM) system uses a horizontal fan unit to extract cold stratified air from close to the ground*, expelling it upward away from the protected area. SISTM

site of a frost detected area.
The SISTM unit is located where cold air accumulates - in naturally occurring or artificially created cold air basin. The SISTM unit draws the cold air in through the lower guard and expels it upwards in a spiral motion where it gradually mixes with the surrounding air. *Cold stratified air occurs in radiant frost conditions. Benefits An electric start M3.5 unit with Kohler 13 hp petrol motor. Proven Frost Protection System - The SISTM system is being used successfully in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Europe and South America, and has won international awards. Cost Effective Solution - The M3.5 SISTM unit can protect over 6 acres depending on the ground topography and frost damage profile. Tailored Scientific Design - The SISTM installation is designed after scientific analysis of your property's frost characteristics, and can be tailored to include operation alongside other active frost protection measures. Easy Operation - The SISTM units have electric ignition, and can be configured for automatic start in frost conditions. Units can also have modems fitted to give frost alerts and system monitoring. Unobtrusive And Quiet - The SISTM units are relatively small and quiet. At under 2 metres high they virtually disappear in the canopy, and with a noise level of only 55 dbA at 40 metres they are the quietest fans available.Portable Unit - The SISTM
units are completely portable to be picked up and moved for storage off
season.
