development including 15 years of Used Stakvat® walls can be reclaimed and used as internal battens. Barrel reclaimed oak can be chosen as an option as internal oak battens in Stakvat® reducing oaking costs even further.
Stakvat’s® unique design enables vats to be fork lifted from any of the four sides stacked in multiples up to five high allowing 60% more wine to be stored in the same space that would be occupied by barrels.
